The first step is to get in touch. If you like to be ahead of the game, read on.
A comprehensive written brief is always a fabulous start because it gives you the opportunity to put your thoughts down in a coherent way and identify all supporting information up front. Use our briefing template to get going. You’ll also need to give us any existing guidelines, assets and materials that we need to invent or reinvent your brand.
We can help. First try filling in our briefing template. Then we’ll set up a meeting to refine what you need. To get a head start, check out our brand audit checklist. It identifies all the components that make up a brand and it’s a great way to begin thinking about where your brand investment can have the most impact.
We offer 2-hour Brand Switch workshops where you can talk through your challenges. We ask lots of questions. Then we go away and think about what you’ve told us and do some research. We come back to you with a mini-strategy – the top actions that will make the biggest difference right now to your brand.
For a retainer, we can be your brand sounding board, specialists you can turn to for advice on all those niggling brand questions and decisions. Talk to us about what you need and we’ll create a proposal for you.
We believe in value pricing, so we don’t work to hourly rates. Instead, we cost each project individually. It starts with digging into your business objectives to find out what you really need from us. We will then recommend the best approach and give you a cost estimate. If you’re happy with this, we’ll get started.
We do our best to understand what’s involved in your project so we can estimate time and budget accurately. Usually we’re bang on. Sometimes things are more complicated than everyone foresaw. We will flag this with you if we think it’s a problem and work out the best way to manage things so we stay on track.
Sometimes things change while we are working on your project and you need to add things – or pivot. Other times, you may choose concepts that take more time to develop than originally estimated. If anything like this happens, we’ll let you know up front and give you a new estimate to approve before going ahead.
We request a down payment (50%) before work starts + final payment (50%) on completion. For projects with long time scales we may invoice incrementally. Payment terms are 7 days.
Most brand owners make micro brand decisions all the time and many come to depend on us for sane advice. We give it freely. But like everyone, we can’t work for free, so if you need us on tap whenever you have a question you’ll want to sign up for one of our awesome brand advisory plans so we can prioritise you. Plans can include ad hoc collateral development to keep you brand aligned.
Sometimes new information comes up as we work together and you will want to change your brief. No drama. We’re all about getting you what you need. If this happens, we will revise our estimated costs and time frames to reflect the new scope and ask your approval of these costs before changing direction.
No problem. Depending on what we agreed with you, they will be included as part of your estimate or can be done at an additional hourly rate
It happens. You may be required to make a payment to cover our work so far.
We always aim to meet your desired timeframe. Achieving deadlines will depend on your turnaround times.
It’s about making sure you have a great experience with us, pure and simple. Your feedback is always sought and listened to. If you’ve worked with us lately, we’d love to know what you think.
We’d love to work on your brand.
